  • Capacitor Discharge Studs are designed to be welded to thin-gauge sheet material using tip ignition according to the capacitor discharge welding process.    

  • Standard materials for CFK CD Studs are: Low Carbon Copper Flashed Steel, Stainless Steel.

  • The stud flange is designed according to EN ISO 13918.

  • Studs made of steel 4.8 are protected against corrosion by a copper coating. (Thickness : 3 to 5 µm)

  • CFK Studs are used to make electrical contact in automotive and industrial applications.
