Competitive pricing, stable production capacity, and worldwide export experience.
Product Features:
1. Made of high-quality low-carbon headed steel wire, ensuring shear studs' mechanical properties and welding properties, with no cracks on the studs' heads.
2. High-precision multi-station cold forming machine ensures high precision and constant shear stud dimensions, with a round chamfer at the end of the studs.
3. High-precision dimensions make the shear studs easy to load into the welding gun chuck and hold tightly; a flat weld end with a round chamfer makes the shear studs easy to insert into the ceramic ferrule hole, and get a 360-degree perfect weld collar.
4. Accurate calculated aluminium flux embedded by unique equipment automatically, ensuring the welding quality and avoiding cavities in the welding bead.
Surface Treatment:
IKING shear connectors use high-quality low-carbon steel processed by pickling and phosphating, ensuring the studs have long time anti-rust condition.

Applications
Typical Applications of Headed Stud Shear Connectors
IKING headed stud shear connectors are widely used in composite steel construction where reliable shear transfer between steel and concrete is required.
Typical applications include:

Welding Process
Drawn arc stud welding for shear connectors can be done mechanically or automatically, using welding guns or welding heads. The shear stud is inserted into the stud holder and – fitted with a ceramic ferrule, if necessary – applied to the work piece. At the beginning of the welding process, the stud is lifted by the mechanism and, normally, first a pilot arc, then the main arc, are struck between the tip of the shear stud and the work piece. This causes the face of the stud and the parent material to melt. When the welding time has elapsed, the shear stud is plunged with little force (< 100 N) into the molten pool, and the current source is switched off. The ceramic ferrule is then removed. The figure shows the sequence of events using a ceramic ferrule.

A headed shear stud is a welded fastener designed to connect steel beams with concrete slabs, creating composite structural action and improving load transfer.
A headed shear stud is the most common type of shear connector used in composite steel construction. It provides reliable shear resistance and is permanently welded to the steel member.
Headed shear studs are typically installed using drawn arc stud welding, which creates a full-strength metallurgical bond within milliseconds.
